I ended up with a five-round process that took almost a month, which made the waiting part feel long.

The first stage was an initial discussion with a senior automation support engineer, and then I had a technical round where I wrote scripts.

After that came a manager round with scenario-based questions and related concepts, followed by a director round that was all behavioural questions. The final HR round was the toughest one; it felt very hard to convince, and that stage carried the most emotional weight because it was about fit and reasoning rather than pure execution.

I didn’t get an offer, and the extended timeline plus the difficulty of the HR stage made the process feel even more
