This was a fast, high-intensity day where I had to build two project assignments in one day.

They were mainly low-level in nature, and the tasks required knowledge of websocket APIs, which was new to me.

The difficulty felt difficult because of both the time and the learning curve involved. Even so, the work itself was interesting and practical.

I didn’t get an offer, and the biggest thing I remember was how much the websocket requirement influenced my comfort level during the projects. My reflection was that the challenge wasn’t only about ability—it was also about familiarity with that specific low-level surface area.
