Bounteous Software Engineer interview experience

The final interview was with a lead developer, and that’s where everything felt off.

He spent a lot of the call reading the job description back to me while complaining about the client I’d be working with, and then asked me to walk through my portfolio. My portfolio was simple and didn’t seem connected to what he wanted, so I asked for clarification on what he was looking for. He told me not to worry about it, asked if I had questions, and ended the call pretty abruptly—after essentially one question and a lot of negativity.

Even after that, the recruiter went quiet for about two weeks.
