Booking.com Software Engineer interview experience

I went through the technical exam and passed, but before I could get an offer, the role was filled while I was still in the process.

Even after doing well on the technical part, I wasn’t able to get an offer because someone else had already taken the position. The hardest part was that I made it far enough to demonstrate fit, only for the outcome to be decided by timing rather than performance.
