Booking.com Frontend Engineer interview experience

I was expected to write frontend code on paper, and it felt like a poor proxy for how I actually work.

Everything else around the trip felt real and serious, but the assessment format was the downside that stuck with me. I didn’t end up getting the role, and the biggest reflection I had afterward was that the process didn’t translate well to the type of work I’d be doing.
