I interviewed through three rounds that progressively dug deeper into core Java, with a director going especially deep into foundations.

Core Java basics — first round covered core Java and OOAD concepts like object instantiation.
Project + frameworks — second round shifted to my current project plus Spring and Hibernate.
Director round (deep core Java) — the final round drilled into core Java topics, with heavy preference toward collections and threads. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer; the takeaway was that Blue Yonder expected very solid core Java fundamentals, especially around concurrency and data structures.
