I went through a DB-focused path that started technical and leaned into performance and database concepts, but ultimately didn’t move forward.

Technical round(s) (2x) — database questions spanning Oracle and SQL Server, including performance tuning.
Additional tech/manager layer — a managerial/tech-oriented component with behavior-related evaluation.
Onsite-style decision point — after a coding/task stage, I later faced a disappointing onsite experience and was told they wouldn’t proceed due to perceived experience gaps.
Outcome: No offer; I felt the process hinged on very specific experience alignment, and follow-through after the onsite wasn’t encouraging.
