I interviewed for Software Engineer through an on-campus placement style process at IITM, and it felt average in difficulty with a clear three-part structure.

Online technical screening test — I took an online test used to filter candidates.
Face-to-face round 1 — I was asked questions based on my master’s coursework, plus questions about my projects and general CS topics.
Face-to-face round 2 — This round focused on discussing my projects, with a few puzzles.
HR round — I handled situational questions about how I would respond at work. Outcome: I didn’t move forward; the takeaway is that explaining projects clearly and preparing for situational judgment were essential.
