Arlington, VAPosted Jul 2022 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interviews felt unusually shallow and repetitive.

I ended up talking to multiple people and, across the sessions, they basically asked the same questions to each interviewer. The technical content didn’t land deeply; it was more of a surface-level sweep.

Because the questions weren’t very demanding, the overall experience felt easy but also somewhat pointless to me—like there wasn’t much chance to learn what they truly valued or how my skills would be judged in a meaningful way. I didn’t move forward after that, and the biggest takeaway was that the process didn’t feel rigorous enough to justify the time it took.
