After a recruiter outreach, I was sent something that felt like a fundamentals prompt packaged as a PDF.

The format was strict: I had to answer each question before moving on, so I couldn’t pace myself by skipping ahead. The questions were mostly “review your basics” style, covering things like how the stack works, heap versus code/data sections, and other core programming concepts.

The actual difficulty landed on the easier side, but it still required careful attention because the questions depended on those foundational ideas. Overall, it was the kind of screen where being comfortable with low-level memory/layout concepts made everything smoother, even though I didn’t get an offer afterward.
