After connecting with the recruiter at a career fair, I ended up in an interview that was split into two parts with two different people on the team—technical in one section and behavioral in the other.

Each part was about thirty minutes, and overall it moved quickly.

I remember the atmosphere being very respectful. The questions were what I’d expect for a screening-style loop: resume and background discussion alongside some technical prompts, but nothing felt like a trap. Even though I came in a bit shaky and took longer than I liked to respond, the interviewers stayed patient and gave me space to think.

I didn’t receive an offer, but the experience didn’t feel hostile or overly stressful—it mostly felt like a calm evaluation of fit and fundamentals.
