Blackbaud Software Engineer interview experience

It was straightforward and seemed focused on culture fit—how my technical background connected to why I was applying, and how I’d gotten interested in computer science in the first place.

The timing was pretty tight, around an hour, and the questions mostly stayed on my background and motivation rather than jumping into heavy coding or puzzles. They asked me why I wanted the company and talked through what had drawn me to the field.

Overall it was a comfortable, low-drama conversation. I didn’t receive an offer, but I didn’t feel blindsided; it simply didn’t end the way I hoped.
