I went in expecting a straightforward conversation and it turned into a phone pre-screen that left me frustrated.

I had already spoken to a manager locally and handed in my resume, but I was told to apply online. The next day I was called by someone in HR from headquarters for what they said was a pre-screen. It felt like I was answering interview questions in a rushed way over the phone, and during my responses I was cut off multiple times, which made the whole thing feel rude and unprofessional to me.

Even though the recruiter did explain the role and kept going through the questions, I was thrown by the interruptions more than the questions themselves. When it ended, I got the standard parting
