Beroe Inc. Research Analyst interview experience

No offer

HardChennaiPosted Jun 2013 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My first stage was an aptitude test that covered time and work, probability, percentages, plus two big data interpretation problems and verbal.

Out of about 600 candidates, only 45 were selected from that round. Those 45 were grouped into batches of eight for the group discussion.

My group discussion topic was capital punishment, and they wanted constructive answers with good communication. Only two people out of each eight moved forward, so it felt cut-throat. After that, there was a technical interview.

The entire process felt difficult, and I didn’t receive an offer. What I found most challenging wasn’t just the aptitude content—it was how quickly the bar got raised when only a small fraction survived each stage.
