Bazaarvoice Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

United StatesPosted Jan 2015 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I met the recruiter at a university career fair and got invited to an on-campus interview shortly after.

That first round was pretty generic in feel—focused on core computer science topics like algorithms and data structures—and it was conducted by one of the software engineers who’d also attended the fair.

A recruiter then set up a second phone round with another engineer. That call was noticeably short, but it landed at about the same difficulty level as the initial interview. After that, they extended an offer. Overall it felt straightforward, and the process didn’t drag out after the first screen.
