Bazaarvoice Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

United StatesPosted Sep 2013 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My first step was a phone screen where I had to introduce myself and then do a quick coding exercise.

The prompt was to find a missing number in a set of n numbers ranging from 0 to n-1.

After that phone stage, I went onsite for a long day—six to seven hours—where the structure became a stack of technical interviews plus a lunch. I went through six technical interviews and one lunch interview, and most of the problems felt like the kinds you’d see on common interview practice sets.

I didn’t get an offer. The toughest part wasn’t just the questions—it was the sheer length of the onsite and how much stamina it demanded across repeated technical rounds.
