Barracuda Networks Systems Engineer interview experience

The technical part was focused on machine learning, and I ended up walking through core algorithms like linear regression and decision trees, plus clustering. They also asked about the math behind it—probability, linear algebra, and optimization—so it wasn’t enough to describe the methods; I had to connect them to the underlying concepts.

To round it out, I covered SQL fundamentals as well, including queries, joins, and how to handle structured datasets for analysis. Overall the difficulty felt difficult, and I didn’t get an offer, but I appreciated that the questions were coherent and tied
