My screening was straightforward: I had an introductory call and then a technical interview.

The technical question itself felt easy, and there wasn’t any focus on DSA at all.

What affected my confidence was the behavior portion. I felt like I lost a lot of points in the behavioral questions, even though the technical part didn’t feel like the hardest barrier.

I didn’t end up getting an offer, and the biggest takeaway for me was that the behavioral round carried more weight for the decision than the coding or DSA side did.
