My process leaned heavily on assessments, and it felt endless.

Even after I completed the suggested tests successfully, nothing guaranteed I would actually reach the role. The overall funnel was hard to trust, especially because the materials and knowledge reflected in the tests seemed outdated compared to the latest versions of frameworks.

A lot of it was machine-evaluated, starting with a long block of problem-solving tasks and then additional tests that also dragged on for hours. I remember spending so much time that it felt like the employer wasn’t valuing my time at all—some questions repeated the same idea, but the test still stretched out.
