My first round involved a technical interviewer in English, and it moved fast into fundamentals of POO.

We talked through core concepts, then shifted into Django and Vue.js, which surprised me a bit because I expected something narrower. I had to cover things like the life cycle of a Vue.js application and define what an object means in POO.

The interview then went deeper into implementation topics, including a question about Kafka. Overall it felt like they wanted both the definitions and the practical mental model, not just buzzwords.

The part that hit hardest was the overall tone of the technical stage—it felt closer to memorization than to demonstrating real-world engineering judgment.
