In my case, the process included an HR conversation that covered topics like salary and contract type, and then I moved into a technical round that included a code review.

The format was a bit unusual: the interviewer effectively had a LeetCode-style snippet ready, and I was asked to review the code and reason through what was going on. As I went, the interview felt more frustrating than constructive. It was for a senior level role, but it drifted into Android version specifics that didn’t match how I understood current support practices, and that didn’t sit well with me.
