I began with a phone interview with HR, and it was mainly about my interests and background—formation and the kind of work I wanted to do.

Then I had a more technical oral interview with a couple of developers. That round involved questions tied to the technology for the position, plus scenario-style prompts about situations that might come up on the job and how I’d handle them.

Even though it was only a couple of steps, it felt like a real shift from “fit” to “function,” and the developer-led format made the technical expectations feel more concrete. I didn’t receive an offer, but I left feeling like I’d been evaluated on both my reasoning and how I’d respond under practical, work-like pressure.
