I had an HR call, and then the next step was an in-person interview with the team.

Communication with the recruiter happened over email, which added a slightly detached feel to the coordination.

The in-person setup was the strangest part. The team members sat around in silence and would basically stare while I communicated with the team lead. It made me feel like the environment wasn’t very welcoming or conversational, even though I could still get through the questions.

Despite the odd atmosphere, the overall difficulty was average. I didn’t end up getting the role, but I remember thinking that the process’s social dynamic made it harder to read the room than I expected.
