My interview experience depended a lot on the specific team that was evaluating me.

The questions skewed toward data engineering topics, especially SQL and DBMS.

I was also asked basic Python questions and got a chance to cover some lower-level design style thinking. It didn’t feel like a generic Software Engineer interview; it felt tailored to the kinds of problems that team actually handles.

Because of that focus, the process felt fairly clear about what they were screening for, even if the content was mostly in one direction.
