San Francisco, CAPosted Nov 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My Autodesk interviews were professional and pretty clearly organized, but I felt like there wasn’t enough alignment between what I expected and what was being evaluated.

I spoke with a recruiter first for about 30 minutes, and then later with the hiring manager for around an hour.

The rounds felt easy in the sense that the questions were approachable, and the conversations stayed courteous and organized. Still, something about the overall flow didn’t fully click for me—I kept feeling like the evaluation criteria weren’t as synchronized as they could’ve been.

I didn’t get an offer. My honest reflection was that the process felt smooth on paper, but the lack of alignment made it harder to feel confident about the signals I was getting.
