Autodesk Software Engineer interview experience

The questions leaned heavily into software design principles and data structures and algorithms—areas I hadn’t actually focused on before the session.

I went into it with the confidence that I could handle a standard engineering interview, but the topics I got were outside what I had prepared for. The overall difficulty felt high, and the vibe was that I was missing core ground I needed to cover. I didn’t get an offer, and my main takeaway was how much the specific question selection mattered for whether things felt doable.
