I had a very low-key sequence that mostly centered on the product and my experience.

Two senior engineers walked me through what I’d be working on, and then they mainly asked me to talk about my work history.

What surprised me was what didn’t happen: there weren’t any technical questions, and there wasn’t much of a culture-fit push either. The conversation stayed focused on roles and responsibilities, and it left me feeling like the interview was about alignment and understanding rather than testing depth.
