I started with a phone call where we covered my background and touched on basic JavaScript.

After that, I was invited to the HQ for a technical interview where I wrote code on the board while answering questions. The setup was very direct: it wasn’t just a discussion, it was actively coding during the interview.

I didn’t receive an offer, but the experience felt focused and traditional for engineers—more about demonstrating reasoning live than trying to debate concepts only. Looking back, the board-coding format was the hardest part to adapt to on the spot, and that live pressure ended up shaping how the whole interview felt.
