I started with a call with the recruiter, and then I had a second call with a business development manager.

That second conversation went deeper into my qualifications for the sales development role and gave me more of a real dialogue around what I’d be doing.

I liked that I had room to ask more questions, and it wasn’t just interviewers talking at me. It helped me understand what they expected from the role.

Despite that, I didn’t receive an offer. Still, the process felt clearer and more interactive than some of the earlier screens I’d done.
