I had a few phone interviews before an in-office meeting where I went through four separate one-on-one conversations with senior leadership.

The overall process was fast-paced, but it didn’t feel rushed—each person still took time to answer questions I had along the way.

I stayed engaged throughout because the senior leaders weren’t just delivering scripted responses; they were willing to go back and forth. Even though I didn’t end up getting the role, the pace plus the genuine time spent answering me made the experience feel solid.
