My process started with a series of phone and Zoom calls, beginning with HR and ending with the manager for the role.

I learned about the company’s offering, what made it unique, how the team was structured, and what the goals were for both the company and the position.

The conversations helped fill in context rather than staying purely on my background. I remember feeling like I got a clear picture of what they were aiming for and how the role connected to that.

By the end, I didn’t get an offer, but overall the journey felt informative and structured, and it didn’t feel like a random set of questions with no larger picture.
