The process felt well structured, with clear next steps and short briefs that helped me understand what was coming.

The company description they shared was also strong, which at least gave me context before I talked to anyone.

Where it fell a little flat for me was the lack of feedback and the lack of real face-to-face interaction. I didn’t really get a warmer sense of the team or the vibe—everything felt more informational than personable. I remember thinking the company didn’t come across as particularly fun to work with, which was a surprising impression to carry into an interview.

In the end I wasn’t offered the role. I didn’t feel like I was missing competence so much as I didn’t get much human
