I went through a simple set of rounds that felt straightforward technically: two practical coding rounds and one system design interview focused on API design and understanding product needs.

The technical part felt pretty easy for a company of that caliber, and I received overwhelmingly positive feedback during the process.

After the technical stages, there was a leadership craft round that felt pleasant, followed by a casual values interview that was similar to behavioural but focused on values. Surprisingly, despite how positive everything seemed earlier, I was rejected after the values discussion.

It left a strong impression that the process could end up wasting time, and the values round was the one area where the outcome didn’t match what I saw as clearly supported
