My process started with a recruiter screen, then I moved into an elimination-style first round called ML Craft with two separate segments.

The first half was a deep discussion where I explained an ML project I’d worked on, and they really dug into details rather than letting me stay high-level. The second half was a focused ML system design question that I had to reason through in real time.

After that, the next phase ramped up into coding and design. I had two back-to-back coding rounds, each about an hour, covering backend-style problems like data structures and code design, and then a separate ML system design round. Overall it felt fairly structured and interviewers were evaluating both how I thought and how I communicated
