AT&T Software Engineer interview experience

The coding prompts landed in the medium-hard range, and I kept seeing graph algorithm and dynamic programming themes.

I didn’t manage to clear all of the questions, and a big reason was that I couldn’t reliably remember DP and weighted graph algorithms when I needed them. The test felt less like a single challenge and more like a gauntlet where you had to already be sharp in specific patterns.

I didn’t get an offer. Overall it was difficult enough that it exposed gaps in the exact areas I needed under timed pressure, and that reality was pretty humbling afterward.
