I made it through an initial aptitude round, and then the next step was a written problem-solving round where the programming language choice was C/C++/Java.

I was comfortable with the general structure of what they were asking, but I didn’t clear the problem-solving round.

What I understood from the format was that if someone cleared that stage, they would move on to a personal face-to-face interview. The whole process was essentially funnel-shaped: aptitude first, then a tougher written programming problem set, and only the impressed ones would get the chance to continue.

I didn’t end up with an offer, and that written problem-solving round was clearly the barrier for me. The experience left me feeling like my preparation wasn’t quite enough
