Aspire E Business Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

Medium

Negative

The interview itself went alright, but the offer wasn’t as satisfying as I expected.

The contract required me to sign on for two years, and there was a monthly evaluation tied to whether the company felt I was performing well.

If things didn’t go well in an evaluation, I could be terminated and also required to pay a penalty fee. That structure made the offer feel risky, even though the interview experience leading up to it was fine.

I did end up with an offer, but my reflection afterward was that the terms mattered as much as the interview outcome—something about the enforcement and penalty didn’t sit right with me.
