ASML Software Engineer interview experience

I sat down with two people who assessed my knowledge and problem-solving, while also spending time on my background.

The questions felt like they were meant to clarify how I think rather than just test whether I could name concepts from memory. I felt like I was able to explain my experiences comfortably, and the pacing stayed natural.

I didn’t end up getting the role, but the process itself didn’t feel chaotic. The overall vibe was straightforward: they wanted to understand my fit through my story and my reasoning, not through a long sequence of hurdles.
