I went from the recruiter email straight into technical interviews without any real phone screen first.

The recruiting team was responsive, but everything moved through email and the interviews themselves felt abrupt and not very welcoming.

I barely got started before the first coding puzzle began. I was expected to lean heavily on my own knowledge of arrays and callbacks, and I wasn’t allowed to reference my previous code or look things up beyond basic syntax. That constraint made the session feel harsher than it needed to be, especially because the interviewers moved quickly.

Even though the technical portion was manageable, the overall experience felt off, and I didn’t make it through.
