McAllen, TXPosted Mar 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I started with a recruiter reaching out and scheduling an over-the-phone intro interview.

The call went well, and I was told I was moving onto the next part of the process. I was then just waiting on the follow-up.

Two days later, I got an email letting me know they had decided to discontinue my candidacy. That was a quick pivot from what felt like positive momentum.

Even though the initial call had gone well, the abrupt end left me with a pretty unclear sense of what happened. It made the process feel less like a steady progression and more like something that could change suddenly after a good first conversation.
