My first technical round was a C++ live-coding interview on a shared session, and it started with warm-ups that tested whether I understood complexity, memory management basics like malloc/free, pointer handling, and a bitwise puzzle.

After that, the questions quickly moved into typical DSA territory—things like Kadane’s algorithm, building a min stack, and then a phone-number autocomplete task using a trie. It felt like a lot, but the structure was clear and I was able to clear that round to move forward.

In a related experience with the same kind of early cut, my process also began with an HR call and then jumped straight into a first technical screen.
