Arista Networks Software Engineer interview experience

The first was a relatively easy coding-style question where I removed spaces from a string. It felt straightforward enough to focus on clean handling of the input and output.

The second round was with senior or lead engineers, and it leaned heavily toward C++ implementation and core language behavior. I was asked to implement a stack in C++ and explain how virtual functions work. The conversation felt more like a working session than a speed run, but it still tested whether I could reason about C++ concepts while staying organized with the code.
