My interview started with an online HackerRank challenge, and then I moved into a sequence of technical rounds that were each about an hour.

After that first screening test, there were two more long interviews where the topics could vary a lot—sometimes it was still algorithms and data structures, but other times it stretched into designing something like a small Linux CLI tool, plus occasional C/C++ or operating-systems questions.

One technical round pushed me with linked list and tree problems, and it felt very LeetCode-like but still demanding. I also had to handle a second technical conversation with a manager that shifted the difficulty upward and felt more like it was probing my understanding of internals of how programming
