Negative

I applied right after the job went live, and the timeline was almost suspiciously fast.

I received a rejection email just a few days later, with messaging that the role was already filled—which didn’t make sense to me given it was still early in the week and it came back as if the selection had happened extremely quickly. It threw me off, because it made the process feel like it wasn’t actually running the way it was presented.

Even with that early rejection, my main takeaway was how little opportunity there seemed to be for evaluation. The hardest part wasn’t just the “no,” it was the implication that the job post might have been effectively over before anyone could interview.
