Aqr Capital Management Software Engineer interview experience

The process felt fairly standard compared to other companies I’d seen—nothing overly exotic, but it didn’t feel like an all-out test of advanced algorithms either. I didn’t score perfectly on the technical part, yet I still progressed through the subsequent steps.

After the personality round, I was told they had decided to extend an offer to someone else. Even though the recruiting pipeline had felt smooth enough, the final turn was disappointing, and the feedback I got didn’t make the whole process feel especially decisive or transparent.
