Palo Alto, CAPosted Sep 2019 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a process that felt unusually conversational, almost like an extended technical discussion rather than a high-stakes grilling.

After a brief phone screening, I had a technical interview over Skype, then I moved into an onsite with three back-to-back whiteboard interviews.

Across those rounds, everyone seemed genuinely engaged and excited to talk about what they worked on. I received feedback within a day of each interview, and that fast follow-up made it easier to stay grounded. The technical questions mixed soft-skill topics with job-relevant technical content, and the interviewers were encouraging—if I wandered too far, they would steer me back instead of letting the conversation collapse.
