My process was short and straightforward.

I had a 30-minute phone screen with a recruiter where we went over my resume and past projects. The conversation felt pretty general—nothing deep or technical—and the recruiter said they’d consider me for the role and pass along my information to the hiring manager at their Mississauga location.

I waited about two weeks and then got a rejection email. It left me with the feeling that I wasn’t taken forward quickly, and it never progressed into anything like a technical interview or longer process.
