Mountain View, CAPosted May 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interview problems themselves weren’t overly hard, but the overall experience left a sour taste for me.

During one round, there was a push to let me use Python even though C++ was my primary language. I did the interview and then was instructed to wait for HR afterward.

I waited about twenty minutes, but nobody came back to collect me or move things forward. After that gap, I left on my own rather than sit there indefinitely.

I didn’t end up getting an offer, and what I remember most wasn’t the technical difficulty—it was the awkward process breakdown at the end.
