Apple Machine Learning Engineer interview experience

Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through an onsite process for an Apple machine learning engineer role a little over a month before I heard anything back.

The recruiter stayed in touch and then came back after roughly three weeks to tell me the feedback was positive, but they were still waiting to collect final feedback before making any decision.

The part that stood out to me wasn’t the interviews themselves—it was the silence afterward. Even with positive signals, the wrap-up phase felt drawn out, and that delay made the whole process linger longer than it needed to.
