Apple Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

Posted Nov 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I applied for a Software Engineer role on Apple’s Ads Delivery team and got moved into a short screening that felt almost entirely driven by my resume.

The position was for Hyderabad, and the first step ran for about 45 minutes with another engineer. There weren’t any DSA problems; instead, the conversation leaned hard into my background and what I’d done before.

After that screen, I was rejected. The experience left me feeling like the process was less about live problem-solving and more about confirming fit from my application, with my actual technical performance getting very little runway.
